Alfalfa is a perennial, clover-like, leguminous plant of the pea family. Alfalfa’s chlorophyll-rich leaves contain vitamins: A, C, E and K4 combined with minerals: calcium, potassium, phosphorous and iron. Alfalfa also has mild anti-inflammatory and diuretic properties.
